CENTRIFUGAL FERTILIZER SPREADER

It is an operating machine carried by the tractor with three point linkage. 

It is used to spread granulated and pulverulent fertilizer. Spreading occurs with a rotary plate designed to grant a regular distribution over a wide area. 

An angle transmission that works vertically topward is driven by the tractor through the cardan shaft and it controls a horizontal plate with a diameter of 380 – 450 mm on which falls the fertilizer from the hopper and the distribution is due to the centrifugal force. 

The hopper also contains a mixer driven by the transmission output shaft with the functions to keep the fertilizer way always free from any lumps or cloggings.

• Hopper capacity 250 - 500 Kg 
• Spreading width for powder fertilizer 5 — 6 m 
• Spreading width for granular fertilizer 10 — 14 m 
• Absorbed power 8 - 15 CV 

REMARK: The double fertilizer spreaders, i.e. those having two plates or distributing disks, grant a bigger work capacity thanks to their bigger spreading width.
