POST HOLE DIGGERS
It is a driven machine, mainly consisting of a carrying structure, of a reduction gearbox and of the drilling auger.
Motion is taken by the tractor through a cardan shaft and is sent to the helicoidal drilling bit (tool of the auger) passing through the gearbox that reduces the speed and gives the right direction of rotation.
It is used to carry out holes for fence piling, on plantations, for drillings. The size that most characterizes the power needed by the gearbox is the diameter of the auger and the work depth.
The parameters concerning the auger are completed by the nature of the land and the kind of use. The most used diameters for the augers are between 200 and 600 mm.
